The pieces are fitting together a bit earlier in the season than we've seen in a while. Momentum and confidence are real things in baseball. Keep your fingers crossed; this may be a good season!

They're looking good so far. Advincula has been killing it. It would be a lot of fun to have the team realistically be in the mix for a trip to the CWS this year.

Thanks for the report. Even though I pay through the nose for cable, including the sports option (to get Pac-12 network), I don't seem to get ESPN+. What a goddam racket. Cable doesn't have the most interesting stuff (Mandalorian, Jack Reacher, Jack Ryan, etc etc,) but those special oddball subscriptions that have those shows don't give you shit else. At least I get Yellowstone.

Anyway, hope the weather holds for the season-opening home series in Pullman this weekend. Forecast is for high 30's all next weekend.

But starting the season 7-1, against what is not such bad competition, rocks.

Finding a way to gut it out is something every good team learns. I'm really happy with the start!
