USC just beat ASU 68-65 and earlier today CU beat Utah 69-60 leaving the Cougs tied with ASU. But, the Cougs win the tie-breaker. They will play last place Cal in the P12 tournament.

Sweeping the mutts didn't break my heart. Still remember the 3 season, 7 game win streak against them during the Bennett years. One of my favorite pictures from that streak (I think I have it saved on my computer somewhere), is this crimson-clad couple in mutt arena clapping, totally surrounded by weeping mutts. And the picture of Cowgill and others walking off the mutt floor going "yeah". Classic.

I actually thought a 6th seed and a OSU-USC-Ariz path was the easier path to the championship game but only because I think we match up better with Ariz than UCLA. Bottom line we just need to play tough D and hit some 3's and we have a chance against anybody in the conference. Would be really nice to match the women's run to the title.
Gueye is going to have to come up big. At all times in their games during the women's tournament, CL-W was the best player on the court, and it wasn't close. For the Cougars to match, Gueye must have the tournament of his life.
