Cal beat the cougs 58-54. the cougs led at half 29-28 and the game went down to the final minutes It was a gutsy effort by the cougs Flynn led coug scorers with 20 points

Flynn came back strong after a dismal showing against Stanford. Ike shot 2-12 and 0-2 from the 3 pt line. I like the cougs chances against Cal and Stanford at home.

Pretty good game from Franks. Lots of bad matchups for Clifford where I like Franks on the floor much better

A lot more energy displayed in the game today against Cal. Would have been great to steal a game but too many stretches where we couldn't score

I would like to see a line-up change of going with three bigs at the start. Franks-Hawk-Clifford.

Need to get Hawk more looks

I wondered about going to that lineup as well when we were having so many scoring issues. Franks has shown enough range that we wouldn't lose too much with him on the wing. He's mostly on the perimeter anyway and we already zone a lot. Anyway, I would like to see it against certain teams as well.

I like Franks in the lineup and he probably could handle the 3 spot. However I have never felt Hawk and Clifford complimented each other very well. Hawk becomes too much of a jump shooter with Clifford in the low block. Not sure whose fault it is, but but we dont get enough of an inside out game when the ball goes low to Clifford.

I also thought Montgomery made a good point on Ike. He would be way more effective trying to draw contact going to the hoop than making the acrobatic off balance moves.

It's frustrating to see over and over again. There was a play in the 2nd half where it looked like Ike had a clear lane to the basket and for some reason decided to go up and under again and wasn't even close. It looked like he could have just gone up and dunked it. One of his best attributes is his athletic ability but he seems to complicate moves more than he needs to a lot of the time.

The guy is slow in so many ways. Penetrate and kick it out. Hell, you have three guys crashing down on you. Do the math, big guy!
