The Lady Cougs won another to remain undefeated. They beat a very good Fullerton State team 2-1 in overtime. So far, so good.

Thanks for the update. Very good news. Weren't Fullerton undefeated coming into this match?
Yes, they were . 6-0-1 for the season. Averaging almost three goals per game and had yet to give up a goal in seven games. We got two to break their string of zeros. I do like the aggressive attacking style of our new coach (who's name escapes me).
Stepped out for a few minutes and came back to find that our coach had been red-carded and expelled. I would assume for excessive bitching about a call or a series of calls. No idea as the reason was not mentioned by the announcer. Anyway, it worked out without consequence. We were down 1-0 at the time and they came back with two without him.

Coach Todd Shulenberger. I cannot remember another Coach being red-carded. I wonder if he will have to sit out the next match due to being red-carded. Plus, will the P12 discipline him as well?
I have seen this happen in the pros but not at the college level. Not even aware of whether this sort of discipline is handled at the NCAA or Pac12. Probably a one game suspension as would be given to a player. I doubt whether there will be any impact on the team. Ninety percent of his responsibility occurs during practice and the assistant coaches rallied the ladies nicely in the second half. Schulenberger was red-carded at the 53rd minute. Kinda hard to keep track of who is coaching our soccer team this year for an obvious reason.

I am sure that Sandy Davison will coach the next game. She headed the program when Nugent resigned and before Shulenberger was hired. She is the top assistant.
I admire these girls resolve. This is their 3rd coach in 2 years and they keep winning. They aren't letting the continual revolving door of coaches effect their performance on the field. I think the new coach kept the assistants from Nugent's staff so that had to help a lot. Looks like they are on track for another NCAA tournament.
