Cougs vs Boise St in Spokane arena tonight

Both teams 8-4 with no marquee wins.
Cougs seem to be healthy or at minimum quite a bit healthier.
I dont think the arena will be much of a home court advantage. The SR had a story today about the homecoming of the BSU staff and their connection to gu and 2 local kids playing for truck driver U.
Vegas has WSU favored by 4.5. I’m going with the Cougs, 82-70.

I’d be surprised if WSU comes out flat in this one but it’s a funny game. I hope Smith reminds his guys Leon Rice was “too good” for the WSU job and wasn’t intersted when the Cougs came calling.

I would hope by now it would be painfully obvious to the Cougars that they can't afford to sleepwalk against anyone on their schedule. Easing up in the second half didn't work out vs. EWU, SDSU, and NMSU. Almost didn't work against Winthrop. I think 40 minutes of high effort will allow WSU to win most of the rest of their games, but anything less will result in more losses.

Pullman plays in the GSL now but I get your point. They are still playing a lot of the same schools plus Rogers, Shadle and NC who’ve dropped down to 2A.

I want to see a win obviously, but I also want to see our bigs toughen up and show their scoring ability in a variety of ways.
