Not for men's hoops, but for the women, who haven't been to the NCAA's since 1991? 6 wins in conference despite arguably your best 3 players going down with injury. Since Harold Rhodes the women have managed more than 6 conference wins only twice. 6 wins with your second team, virtually the entire roster returning, with your key back ups getting valuable extended playing time.

I know this team has been snake bit, and assuming the touchie foot injuries heal, I gotta believe next year, is the year, not merely to scrape in, but to gain a top 4 seeding.

Good chance indeed. They got lots of PT in for many players with the three significant players being out. I look for a lot of improvement.

They have the talent to finish in the top 5 or 6 in the Pac 12 and get to the NCAA Tournament next season if everyone comes back healthy. I think they would have been in some Tournament with just Molina. They kicked games away against Arizona twice, Utah, and the CU game in Boulder. Who knows whether they would have also picked up an upset along the way.

They all come back healthy next year and their lineup is pretty potent. They really need to improve in a few areas like free throws, rebounding, and I don't know that I have ever seen any team miss so many layins like we have this year.

Molina played too much for a redshirt but apparently Hristova, Brown, and I'm assuming Fernandez should all get the year back. Fernandez didn't played until Hristova went down and hasn't been back after her concussion. I would assume she would have recovered from that by now but they just decided to get her a year back? Hristova would be a redshirt sophomore and Brown a redshirt junior. Hopefully they get a year back for those 3.

They still have the same coach though. She can recruit, but coaching is her problem.
