It's a good hire, he'll make the offense fun for them. I have no clue how they will be in recruiting. It shows you how tough the market is this year. If they are hiring DeBoer they struck out on a few other guys, probably goes to show you we would have been pretty low on who we could get.
If the WSU job had not gone to Dickert, I was hoping for DeBoer. I think he'll do well at UW, unfortunately.

How did she even get the AD job? What’s the backstory there. After watching that I didn’t realize she was the AD, it looked like she had won a trip to Hollywood on American Idol…so out of place.

She is a woman, and we all know the UW is woke.
The climate in Seattle and the woke UW was ripe for a female hire, and she fills that void.
For the Udub, she was a perfect hire.
She went from "worked in the department as an underling forever but never getting promoted" to getting an internal promotion when Woodward left, and, suddenly--IMO, largely due to inheriting Petersen and Hopkins initially doing OK--became "respected." That narrative has shifted this year, finally, with her hire of Lake failing abysmally, Hopkins having the men's BB program in the toilet, the baseball team getting nailed for NCAA violations, and other issues. To me, it always has seemed with her like one of these things where people just hear someone refer to her as "respected" or some other positive attribute, which may or may not have any basis, and then it gets parroted. Don't see as much of that now.
Are you saying she wasn’t qualified ? Or she dresses poorly. I suppose Dickson, Sterk and Moos were available

Moos wanted gig while still at Oregon which helped cool Uncle Nike on him.
She isn't VG at all. (But can fund raise.) But like her boss, she was an internal promotion without any prior experience in that position.
Altman did push up during his interview which helped get the hoops job. His extension is insane.
