im more interested in the roster and the defense, there are many rsFr and sophs who are coming up like ron stone jr, that I would like to see part of the LB rotation and DL like Dallas Hobbs.

it would be great if someone here or the website would post defensive stats and focus on defense reviews/post game.

the offense is aknown strength, no mystery there...…….the defense is probably what is going to determine how far this team goes.

some concernse, NCU ran the ball way too easy up the middle of this defense. adjustments were made at half......but worrisome.
im wondering if mcdougle wouldn't have plugged up some of that. also moving dubots back over to defense.

I share your concern regarding how effectively they ran on us. We also had a good bit of sloppy tackling. I don't think we can afford either of those next week.

There was a lot of sloppy tackling this game. There also appeared to be a few players out of position a few times.

We need to get Brown more reps. Let him learn on the fly. Way more talented than some of the lbs beside Woods. Also, I'm not convinced Silvels at RUSH wouldn't help the run D. He is stronger at point of attack than Taylor and Stone and Favaea. Claeays was trying to keep it vanilla but had to incorporate more complexity in 2nd half.

We need to realize Brown is the best player on defense And we need to convince Silvels to get back with the team.

From my novice perspective, Hobbs should see more time as he was much better in run defense than Misi and McDougle.
Waiting for McDougle to impress me with his play that he apparently displayed @ WV.
Unquestionably, T Brown should be on the field as what he lacks in experience he makes up for with pure athleticism.
Knew Pelleur would be missed, but not to the degree we’re seeing. IMO, Woods & Rogers are huge disappointments to this point.
Watching No Col run for 222 yards was extremely disappointing, so they either figure it out over the next 5-days or they’ll be chasing Houston all over Reliant Stadium.

It didn't look like they wanted to initiate contact.

Idk, maybe they are practicing the "hawk" tackle, or maybe Claeys told them to try to stay healthy. Whatever it was, it wasn't very effective at actual defending.
