Dick Bennett was one of the best hires in the history of WSU. I watched quite a few of his practices in Pullman. Funny thing, he spent more time working on offense than defense in practice . His mover blocker offense didnt really come across as a ball control offense. It was just a system to try and get guys good looks. I looked up season stats a couple of times, and Cougs took more shots than opponents under Dick.
