I am trying to go off memory here and not cheat by looking it up...but if that is the case,
and we do something similiar...this team could be special.

And I'm not just referring to winning 8 games.

If we could end up making a bowl, that could be one of the more impressive feats
in program history if you factor in all that the team has had to overcome.

If we play like we did yesterday the rest of the way, there isn't a team on the schedule
that we can't beat.

I'm not rooting for Rolo to get fired. I am rooting for this team to overcome adversity
and make this season something special...and it can be done.

Erickson smoked all the non conference foes that year on the road sandwiched in between loss to Oregon.

Started out 3-1.

We could win a national championship and the Branch Covidian cult would still want Rolo fired. That's how crazy these anti-science scaredy-cats are. It's unreal.

The cult is a scary force against freedom and putting feelings over facts.

Contrary to what is posted above, the only reason that most people are pissed off at Rolovich is because we went 1-3 in 2020 and started 1-3 this year. The terrible football is the gasoline and his stance on COVID was the match. We win football games and the gasoline goes away. There will still be a few people running around with torches trying to fire Rolovich, but with no gasoline, they get ignored.

Start losing football games and the torches get some fuel to burn. It's that simple.

And WSU actually went 4-1 to start 1988. The better comparison would be 2015. We started out with an ugly FCS loss and we were sitting at 2-2 after four games. Plenty of people were ready to run Leach off. Going 6-1 heading into the Apple Cup pretty much shut down the anti-Leach crowd. Let's hope WSU can go 4-1 in our next five games.

What about in conference? I could have sworn I saw the 1-3 record somewhere in the multiple viewings of the UCLA game when they showed the records.'

I'll look it up in a while...but just thought this would be a fun exercise

I went over to Covid center to check out the coverage of the game...and in the post game write up, the comments were predictable. None of the comments were about the game.

And while I don't like the way he has handled the situation, one this is clear: He cares about his kids.

And to me, it seems like the kids feel the same

They lost to both Arizona schools just before the win at UCLA.

Rosenbach crapped the bed in the Red zone in last minute drive vs ASU in Martin Stadium.

I just checked...the were 1-3 in the conference before UCLA as they lost to ORegon as well.

I remember that year because the Mullet Jeff George was supposed to be the next John ELway...and he got his milk money taken

Not what we want...preferred he get vaxed like he has done all of his life and his kids and coach and have the chips fall where they may. If he felt strongly about having his freedom and not being vaxed, he would have never gone to San Fran CC, or played at Hawaii. Just this one.....

But in this world their is a higher hierarchy, and there is a rule, the President and AD have as much of an ego as the coach. Don't piss off the people who hired you. He continually does that.

The UCLA game was pivotal. He loses that game and he sub .500 if I recall correctly. Rosie would kill it in today's game.

Not what we want? You don't want a natty? Okay. You are a true Branch Covidian. Nice work.
