Do we go nostalgic and see if Kelvin is a fit?

No. Kelvin is still Kelvin. You can't trust him to run a clean program. He's done a hell of a job at Houston, but you don't want to deal with what he can bring. There are coaches out there that can win at Wazzu. It's a limited amount, but there are coaches out there that can win here. Just need some luck and find them.

...and I seriously doubt Sampson is giving up the $60M new digs for nostalgia and coming back to Pullman.

I do think it will be someone older and/or an established head coach regardless of the level. Kelvin is slightly more of a possibility than Pitino...I guess. When do we see the thread on Calipari getting tired of Kentucky and wanting to challenge himself in Pullman?

Same time we probably see Tony Bennett coming back...there is a better chance of Dick Bennett coming back than Tony...and Dick "aint" coming back.

Nobody wants to challenge themselves.

They want paid.

So the new coach is coming for a non P5 conference or a super high level assistant at an elite P5 school who doesn’t think he’s the heir apparent.
