They might have had enough of DeLaura.

If Lenox can stay healthy, I would take him over Williams. He's one of the most accurate passers I have ever seen...as much as I hate to say it.

I'm excited to see what Ward can do in a non-wr screen based offense.

Many publications release projections on who could be selected to the Pac 12 selection teams.
I found it interesting to look at the projections for offensive line and how a team is projected to finish.
For example, Oregon State has 3 linemen listed as 1st/2nd team, and 2 others that are listed as returning starters. If their QB transfer clicks, The Beavers could be very good.

Oregon continues to receive image praise, considering they have 1 returning starter on the line, and 2 transfers projected to start.

Oregon's O line will indeed be interesting to watch...

Oregon State is trending upward.

S&S, off-topic maybe, but is it hard to keep up with College Football and the Cougs when you’re living in a foreign country?
No ..Pac12 Network is free on YouTube internationally so I haven't missed a game...it's the NIL and current state of things that have taken my interest level down a few notches.

I feel like The Cougar Collective coupled with the new IPF and a dynamic young coaching staff will continue to keep WSU in the upper tier of Pac-12 football.

There seems to be a lot of optimism right now

Hired an alumnus/former player to re-energize and re-build the program.

He lost a lot of games the first three seasons but started to turn the corner in Year 4

Patience can be a good thing

I'll be surprised if Ward proves he's not over his head.

I'll be surprised if I'm wrong when we say he absolutly belongs in the Mountain West, or Big Sky.

And remember, Eric Morris, the procuring advocate, is gone.

Unless a divine transformation, or miracle happens, we've seen enough.

I was in your camp until the spring game…the crap he was doing last year has been thoroughly coached out of him IMO. I think we will see a very different Cam Ward.

Now that said, when the black jersey comes off and he gets hit a couple of times against Wisconsin we will see if the happy feet/running out of a good pocket instead of climbing it returns. At the least we should see tremendous improvements in bubble screen execution.

I hope you're right. You either have it or you don't. We'll see.

Problem is, he's got an NIL deal, and that's problematic if you're benched.

It isn't patience at all. It is his plan, scheme, development and coaching.

I believe Smith has created a “Moneyball” plan.

I think there’s close to zero chance he gets benched. I thought there was going to be a legit competition but I think Ward is a decent chunk ahead of mateer now. I still like mateer and expect he will see some more garbage time this year, but I don’t see Ward playing bad enough to get benched or for mateer to make a serious push in August. Ward had some rough games last year and wasn’t benched.

Call me old fashioned, but I'll never donate a cent to an NIL fund. NIL is a turnoff and it's never been easier to stop watching college athletics. It's great the athletes can now make money, but seems the value of a scholarship and education have officially been tossed aside. Scholarship? Cool. Mad Money? Nah.

WSU is one of the last programs to get an IPF, I don't think that gives them a major competitive advantage. In reality, other teams at WSU will likely benefit more from it being completed.

What’s the problem? Hand the keys to the truck to the guy that beat you out. Have him drive you home.

There is a d3 school in Wisconsin that is building an IPF.

Think it’ll take them 20 years?

WSU is run by incompetent idiots. It doesn’t take this long to build a f’ing warehouse.

Never thought about that aspect M.I.

Do these N.I.L. deals involve a written contract or even a handshake? Or is just a wink and "don't say anything" type arrangement?

Maybe the dealership provides John Mateer a similar vehicle if he becomes the starter and everything's kosher

Just guessing, but once "The Bubble" opened in 2002, maybe the various administrations over the years decided to focus on Martin Stadium, the FOB, baseball facilities, etc, etc.

Schultz says shovels will be in the ground for the IPF when the Badgers come to town in September. Gotta think Chun and his staff already have a solid plan for repurposing "The Bubble" somewhere else on campus

Stop making excuses for the admin. They failed to build out a warehouse over the course of 20 years. This is not a ringing endorsement of competency.

CSB, there are A LOT of fans who agree with you.

Once USC and UCLA are gone, I wonder if Klaikoff and the university presidents will shape the Pac-12 into more of a "traditional" academically focused conference as opposed to the quasi-professionals in the $EC and Big Money Ten

Biggsy, will you brighten up even a little once the IPF shovels hit the ground September 9th? 😉 😃

I will not make excuses for the failures of admin getting wealthy on the college industrial complex.

Enabling the incompetency is what they are counting on.

You need to stop, not me.
