Double?

Any idea how many scholarships they have to offer this year??? They need a big class of high school kids.

I believe we have 64 players on scholarship once the seniors graduate. Included in the 64 are Calvin Jackson as redshirting this year and Dom Silvels returning. I expect that number to drop which means more scholies to hand out due to attrition. Wouldn't be surprised to see guys who haven't seen the field (ie Damion Lee and Cole Dubots) transfer somewhere else looking for PT.

So there is probably 25 to give. Call it 22 high school kids and best 3 transfers available..

Don't forget walk ons Blake Mazza and Hank Pladson possibly getting put on scholarship. It'll be interesting to see who moves on for more PT. I'm sure Leach wants to have some of the third year guys who are good students stick around and finish their degrees. APR has dipped off its highs last year due to the number of transfers.

25.

It's always 25.

The constant regarding 25 is that is the most scholarship athletes who can enroll in the fall, I believe, unless the rule has changed. You can enroll the full 25 so long as doing so doesn't push your total number of scholarship players beyond 85.

Cougs aren't waiting for Smalls:p

That would be funny as heck if Smalls didnt make a decision until last second, then said "I commit to WSU", then be told that WSU doesnt have any scholly spots left to offer. Then he goes to the Blue Blood Colleges, and they all tell him that he waited too long that no scholly's left, that they gave his spot to some other 4,5 star
