Best ball movement early on I have seen for awhile

Bernstein in for Cooper, ball movement back to stagnant

Acquaah hits a 3. If he could just figure out how to finish at the rim it would help him get on the floor more. Haven't seen Pollard or Chidom yet. Franks doesn't look quite 100%.

Best we have looked defensively in some ways as well.

Talk about a player putting a team on his back. Flynn was special tonight

Flynn with easily his best game. Thought Franks stepped up a lot late as well when he obviously wasn't 100%. Cooper did some good things before fouling out.

We aren't very good but nice to get an win.

Where are the accolades? The cougs looked good defensively. They also played like every possession is important. As EK loves to say"they grew up a little tonight." But it was good win for a struggling team

As I said earlier, I really liked our ball movement when Cooper was at the low post. Seems to be a pretty good passer, and is more of a threat to go strong to the basket than any of our other bigs.

I was hopeful when they recruited Cooper and i was disappointed when he was not contributing in the least. His basket defense should pick up as he adjusts to the flow of D 1 basketball. I guess better late than never.
