Have any of you been following Eastern WA this season? They've won 15 straight and are 13-0 in Big Sky play. This is a team we beat by 26 points earlier this season. The craziest thing to me is that virtually all of their games during their winning streak have been close. I think only 2 of them have been by more than 10 pts.

I went to the game at the Arena vs EWU. Aside from it being one of the better 3 point shooting games for WSU all year it was a pretty decent crowd. A home and neutral (Spokane Arena) with them makes sense to me. Getting Eastern Wa intersted in basketball beyond gu is a good thing.
And they sell beer at the Arena.

David Riley is one to watch if/when Smith goes elsewhere.

Actually that was a home EWU game, they had the choice where to host it and picked the arena.
Are you sure about that? I’m pretty sure WSU stipulated the ewu home game would be played at the arena.
You must have inside information because I can’t find anything. If you recall, they were originally going to play at the arena in 2020 but it was postponed due to covid issues. And why would wsu offer to play a home game in Cheney when they needed a waiver to play a home and home with Idaho?
