but the loss tonight is on him and his sloppy and irresponsible play. The turnovers down the stretch - yes, Franks had a couple - were absolute killers.

He’s still a freshman, and that’s the toughest defense to navigate in the conference. Cougs could have easily won by 10+ for the third straight game. They are getting better and believing they can win. Yes, gut wrenching loss, but the last three games have been more fun to watch than Coug BBall has in years.but the loss tonight is on him and his sloppy and irresponsible play. I agree this is much more fun to watch. He’s still a freshman, and that’s the toughest defense to navigate in the conference. Cougs could have easily won by 10+ for the third straight game. Isn’t this Skaggs second year? His defense was also good. Thing about JC's is that year 2 is always a lot better.

He hasn’t played a minute in at least 3 games. I think he will see the writing on the wall and transfer for his last year. He can shoot and in the right place could fill that role. With Chance Moore also coming in where are the minutes coming from here?Skaggs also came in as a JC Soph. He still has one more year to sit on the bench. Maybe he transfers...
I don’t expect Elleby to finish out his career in Pullman.
No insider info - just the trend of players moving on to winning programs. AAU mentality. They’ll be some attrition of those who came out of high school with more stores which them opens up room at the table for guys like Elleby who came in under appreciated but grew beyond his initial star ranking.
Just the way of the world these days.
I thought he had checked out during the Mountain trip. He even said in a recent article he started to look to “get his”. If we can put a run together I think he sticks around. He has a chance to be the focal point for the program and there is a decent core of players around him. I’m not saying UCLA or Oregon core but if they stick together we have seen how solid talent and experience can turn into a quality team. I understand the lack of confidence in Kent but would like to see how the final 6 games turn out.I’d agree but I read something on Brand X that both Rainer Beach and Garfield tried to recruit him in HS but he chose to stick with his boys at Cleveland so he may be a bit of a throwback. Hope he stays.
