Oregon State has appointed a new president, F. King Alexander. This could be important since the old guy, Ed Ray, is a big Larry Scott supporter. Alexander is from LSU.

It seems like the Pac-12 is having no problem pulling presidents and top level administrators from other Power 5 schools. I guess it's always possible that Alexander hated LSU or LSU hated him. But a little $EC in amongst the presidents can't be a bad thing.

Speaking of Emmert, read this story from a few years back, makes you wonder how he got any job. He was President at the UW, when Tyrone Willingham was hired, and also was in charge when Sark got hire, the article goes back further. That's great record of hiring, it's that body of work that got him promoted to head of the NCAA.
