I have been following Cougar Hoops for a long time. Thought that when he was hired that the moves that Ernie has made this year since the end of the season would have been what we were in for in Hoops.

Have to say that I am pleased with the new direction. Late but good and it just continues. Yesterday's announcement of the hiring of Elwyn McRoy as the recrutiing coordinator was another great move.

McRoy is outstanding. Nice to see Coach McRoy and his family join the Cougar family. His ability to recruit and direct recruitiing will be something that will be very good.

His ties to JC recruiting and on different levels will take this fine staff forward.

Good job Coach Kent.

We have made a quantum leap in the staff in just a few months. I'm sure most welcome it even though it was overdue. No guarantees but if you don't have a staff that can connect with recruits and build relationships that will overcome the inherent challenges of recruiting to WSU then you are done before you started. I think we have that in place now and it's exciting moving forward.

Seriously stoked about McRoy. If you know his story, it's even more impressive. Good job, Ernie.

Kind of like Eastman, I always liked him in many ways as a coach, but he could never put together a decent staff so was destined to fail.
