Geezus..he has zip on th ball, is accurate. Can run.
I have given Rolo a lot of rope ..but this kid should have been given a chance

Agree, a freshman walk on over a 3 or 4 year playerGeezus..he has zip on th ball, is accurate. Can run.

I agree. Cruz should have gotten a chance.Turd doesnt get it. Last year he screwed Cam and Cruz by not giving them a legit shot. This year he brings in a transfer, he’s banged up. Puts a walk on out there, that didnt work. Now Cam gets a shot. Chinese fire drill at the most important position on the field.
We have all seen good football and bad football. Believe what your eyes see.
Flush the turd.
I would like to see a larger sample size.Appears to have a better grasp of taking what the defense will give.
And.....then he throws a pick.
But, yeah, JDL chucking it deep or tucking and running doesn't have much flow.
I agree. Cruz should have gotten a chance.
At this point, it is clear he won't give Leach recruits a fair chance...at least at the QB spot
and he still threw a bad pick.Cooper looked pretty good -- better than he has previously -- but realize what it was ... the end of a blowout against their third-stringers playing half-assed defense.
Cooper looked like he has in other mop up duty. Each time he's come in I've wanted to see more of him even though he doesn't look like the messiah.Cooper looked pretty good -- better than he has previously -- but realize what it was ... the end of a blowout against their third-stringers playing half-assed defense. With what else we have, though, especially if JdL is hobbled and can't use his legs, I don't have any issue with giving him a real shot. He can use his legs and that's the only way this offense is doing to do anything this season.
Well ..I disagree to a point about Borghi. He is getting reps...but they are all those stupid pulling plays with air raid lineman.I understand that kids will leave when a new staff arrives. There comes a point when too many kids have left. Kids arent dumb. They know a shit coach when they see one.
Cruz left. Cam should have left. Borghi’s talent is being pissed away by a second coach.
Turd is making this about him. It doesnt matter what scheme he knows. He has to run with the talent he has. He doesnt have a passing qb on the roster. They all need a run game, play action series and green light to run themselves. There is no one on the roster that can put it up 25 times per game and win. They need scheme help around them.
And how many reps did he get?and he still threw a bad pick.

There should be 1 running play..and that is a quick hitter.
We should never pull a fing lineman again with this group...bit I agree with your overall point.
I am on the fence with that one with McIntosh. Before Mac, I agree with that. Plus, Borghi seems to be running tentatively...but I also think in part to those slow developing plays...but he will need film in that for the next level, no?How many games does Max have with 20+ carries?

I agree. although I am not sure we flourish on 30 runs a game if you want to give #3 carries. Our online isn't built for itYou watch, when it comes time for his NFL evaluation his biggest issue will be durability. Not that he has been hurt a lot. The issue is no one has seen him carry the ball 20+ times per game. He can catch. He can run between the tackles. He can score from anywhere. Can he handle 20+ carries???
He is the best player on the team. The offense needs to go thru him. Why on earth would you keep giving attempts to your qbs? They cant do it.
25 passing attempts by ANY qb OR 25 carries by Max. Pick one.
How many games does Max have with 20+ carries?
Harrell and Clay McGuire just schooled WSU. It was just too easy. How many were you expecting? I wasn’t expecting any.

I don't watch NFL as much as I used to ..but does anyone get 20 carries a game these days? Seems to me rb by committee
Doesn’t really matter. In every game this season, we’ve had a back moving the ball well early and in every game this season we’ve stopped giving that back the ball.I am on the fence with that one with McIntosh. Before Mac, I agree with that. Plus, Borghi seems to be running tentatively...but I also think in part to those slow developing plays...but he will need film in that for the next level, no?
I’m really wondering what we’ve been doing in terms of reps in practice.
Apparently we gave a whole ton of first team reps to Guarantano in spring and summer. That got us all of a quarter and a half from him.
Then, I guess Cooper has been running some kind of wishbone goal line package during practice.
Now we’re giving second team reps to this walk on? What are Guarantano and Cooper doing then?
We’ve got a whole room full of QBs who haven’t been getting enough reps and it shows.
We’re back to the 2005 model, where we’re clearly not training for stamina. Then again, we’re obviously not training for strength either.Strength and conditioning needs to be questioned too. Way too many guys hurt.
Fortunately we got rid of the sand pit. We’re back to the 2005 model, where we’re clearly not training for stamina. Then again, we’re obviously not training for strength either.
Actually, I’m not sure there’s clear evidence we’re training at all. Or practicing, game planning, or film study, etc.
Keep this on the the QT but apparently Cooper only gets reps in practice as a goal line specialists. It’s a wish bone package that is unstoppable. ShhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhGeezus..he has zip on th ball, is accurate. Can run.

Depth chart for Utah was just released and it's got deLaura and Guarantano now listed as "Or" for the start. Cooper is back to #3 and the walk on is no where to be found.I’m really wondering what we’ve been doing in terms of reps in practice.

I’d take that with a grain of salt. Was the walk on on the depth chart last week?Depth chart for Utah was just released and it's got deLaura and Guarantano now listed as "Or" for the start. Cooper is back to #3 and the walk on is no where to be found.
Again, I have to ask, what are we doing in practice? We've got 4 guys now that have played the position, and I don't know that a single one of them have gotten any kind of consistent reps.
