I don’t know anything about BSUs coaching staff. But Maile might know an awful lot about Dickert and where he feels he can get to by coaching with Dickert. Certainly not a downgrade but plenty of people make lateral moves in their professions with long term goals in mind.

I did a Google search on him and he was the interim coach at Utah State that the players wanted to be the permanent head coach and they didn’t even look at him. They accused president of discriminating against him because he is LDS.
