Hey cougars. I’m a fan of a big ten team playing Fresno state this fall. I was kind of taken aback by your box score against them. Was their defense really that good or did Washington state perform poorly? Or both

Half of our starters bailed before the game for various reasons along with our OC and our QB quit at halftime.
They played inspired football, we didn't give a shit.

Right now the conference and the future is a hot mess.
You’d be going with big 12 right? Everyone on our site is saying 3 20 team super conferences is inevitable. I don’t know your situation, but it seems like if you don’t have a donor base like USC, you better have one big mega donor who cares about sports.. or retaining a roster will be difficult.
No we don't have a mega donor, and our donor base overall is pretty tight fisted. So as far as the NIL fiasco goes, we are in tough shape. If the 3 mega conference thing happens, we will probably be left out in the cold.
