What a PR and competence blunder. Did anyone from Larry's office call to confirm anything about their assumptions? Or (more likely) has Limo Larry and the medical team passively accepted the statements because the season was "put on ice."

How invested is Limo Larry in the success of our conference? Straw that broke the back in my opinion.

You are incorrect. Read Newsom's order not his later statement.

Put immense pressure on Gavin Newsom to give them the go-ahead. This is similar to the strategy Uber and Lyft employed when the recent law was passed against drivers being gig contractors in California: they didn't do anything different, then waited for the public to find out they were about to lose their ride shares. The public opinion prevailed.

Larry should schedule the games and force Newsom to fall in line. Yes, it's bold, but it will work.

Again -- not reading the order, using common sense. MLB and NFL are playing. Did the Pac-12 have discussions with the governor's office on how to accomplish this. Or get lazy and check the box on the exact order (which is a public health order).

California officials suggested 5 in 5 practices, practicing against air, or mental practice.

Larry Scott is a man with plenty of flaws but this one isn't on him. Newsom is even more incompetent than Larry Scott.

Here is an updated article that Wilmer points out the inconistencies.

The point: NFL and MLB were cleared. If we wanted to accomplish this, there obviously is a path to do so.

More importantly, the precedent has been set. When it comes down to it, they have no ability to stop the teams from practicing without telling other sports that they have to be suspended too.

So it's easier to practice college football than get your hair done in California?

*notwithstanding if it's Auntie Nancy getting a blow out.

As has been said, Larry Scott is still a dumbazz.

But that said, this is not on him, its on Newsom.

And Newsom is Flat Out Wrong. If I was Larry Scott, I would say:

You let the NFL, MLB Baseball, play in California DESPITE Covid.

That means that its also ok for Pac 12 to play football in California, just like NFL football in CA.

If you dont allow Pac 12 football to play in CA, then you also have to not allow NFL football in CA.

If you dont, then your guilty of playing Favoritism, Hypocrissy, Discrimination, Unfairness, etc.

And if you do that. Pac 12 football will sue Governor Newsom and the state of CA.

And if that does not work. Pac 12 football will resume its Pac 12 schedule, by having USC, Stanford, CAL, UCLA practice, play OUTSIDE of CA and your jurisdiction.

One way or another Pac 12 Football will restart, resume its schedule soon.

You, Newsome, have no say in that.

As such Pac 12 football will restart its football season.

And there is nothing You, Newsome can do to stop it.

Just try to stop it. Pac 12 football dares you.

If you do try, then Pac 12 football will not only sue you Newsome, and the state of CA, but we will organize a Boycott of NFL football in CA, and a Boycott of CA, meaning all Pac 12 Bowls, Championships, playoffs, games, etc, will happen OUTSIDE OF CA, in the future.

That will cost CA a lot of money.

Dont F with Us, the Pac 12, or we will find a way to F you back.

But that wont happen because Larry Scott, Nor the Presidents, Nor the AD's, Nor the schools, Nor anybody, has the BALLS to stand up to KING NEWSOME.
