I didn't expect to be 2-0 at this point, but we beat two poor teams. Let's keep that in mind....his getting these kids to play hard and believe in themselves.
Getting a couple conference wins out of the gate, should be very helpful to build confidence in these guys.
We definitely had our share of issues this year but I was glad to see UW and OSU up first. Both relatively dysfunctional programs at the moment as well.Agreed, but after losing a few of these non conference games, I wasn't expecting a single pac-12 win.

I really like how we are finding good shots for long stretches. UW is talented but poorly coached and OSU is without 2 or 3 starters including Tres Tinkle. We aren't good but if we continue to play the way we are right now we can compete. Still, these are probably the 2 of the worst teams in the conference at the moment.Funny how people raved about the mutts talent. When Kent s team beats them they are a "poor team" .therefore it was not good coaching which overcame the talent disparity. Likewise OSU and every other poster on this board favorite coach Wayne Tinkle evidently could not overcome a "talent disparity" and lost to Kent. Again ,it was not good coaching, but two poor teams which Kent beat.
we will have a tough time matching up with Oregon. Stick around and I'm happy.Well ,lets see . The cougs lost 3 starters. Izundu, debatable, but Kent s "fans" piled on him when Ozundu transferred Que also left so Kent had to adjust.. We lost Hill ,who was a starter and quit the team, Tinkle also lost Payton, whom he inherited . Payton was a great talent and made that team last year. So Tinkle is not looking so hot as a coach right now. We will see how the cougs do the rest of the season as they have along ways to go. I will be happy if the cougs are competitive against Oregon. They are a solidly coached team and have very good talent. They should beat the cougs by 20 pts as they did USC and Washington.
