Good get. Smith has definitely improved the quality of his walk ons in his time here. Tony Miller, Miles Warren, and now Dewolf bring D1 experience without coating a scholarship.

Having never heard of him before today, he may a Jeff Pollard type player that the team could have used this past season. He has a lot of experience, so he could fill a leadership roll for this still young team.

Read a story about him on line and it sounds like he played at a very competitive nationally ranked prep school with multiple D-1 players. Article talks a lot about him being a blue collar guy who blocks out and sets hard screens. Coming from Brown its safe to assume he’s no dummy. Worse case is he’s a tough practice player who can give us a few fouls. He has a lot of D-1 experience so he should be able to help in some way.

I wouldn't be shocked if he found himself playing a decent amount. Smith's never been shy about giving minutes to walk ons and basketball teams always need someone not afraid to do the little things. Dewolf might be a better match up for smaller, quicker opponents off the bench than Vova.
