Which I would consider for an interview anyway. He'd provide some personnel continuity on offense but bring in enough new variables to, I think, use our people better. Grinch leaves me less enthusiastic. He wasn't a terrible coach, but we can get a better DCHarrell’s NOT taking an OC position. He’s just not. You would have to hire him as HC.

Agree with this, too. You would have to hire Grinch with the hope that he could rope in the other 2, though. Risky. Not gonna happen, either.Grinch IMO is only exciting if he brings Mastro and Wilson as has been stated. As OC DC. I agree with him being the HC is not that exciting without those guys following. I curious if Leach’s goes after Wilson anyway for Miss St.

Former players are pushing for Grinch, but our roster is built on offense. Id much rather hire a guy like Harrell as HC (who knows De Laura) and bring in a guy like Sirmon or Alexander as DC.
You could put seriously more money on the defensive side of the ball. It might be smart move on Harrell's part to stay ahead of the curve. This is absolutely why I want Harrell. But I also want Grinch because he has proven he can do more with less, which would be ideal with our current roster. The only way I see us getting both is by offering Grinch the HC position and offering more money than SC is already paying Harrell. Given that Clay Helton is likely out after 2020 - I think he jumps ship for more money.
If we can offer Harrell the HC position for continuity - who then do we bring in at DC ?
