I agree with Yaki for once. We can stop talking about the Heisman. Minshew has done enough to be in New York and to win it.

Leaf should have won the Heisman in 97, and Minshew should win it this year. How many come from behind wins does he have this year. What would Alabama's record be if I was their QB?

As Fab pointed out in talking about 97, we may have won 5 games, maybe 6 at the most in 1997, and we could be 5-7 without Minshew. Even Leach has said as much when he has talked about Minshew and the Heisman.

He won't win it cause...WSU and...Alabama.

We absolutely need to talk Heisman. Tua has a knee injury. He won’t be the same without his legs, if he plays. Minshew keeps gaining steam. Beat UW and win the PAC 12..... you never know.

If Leaf didn't win it, Minshew won't. Leaf took a school to the first Rose Bowl in 67 years. He took a program with outdated facilities, a school the likes of erickson and Sherrill didn't believe we could go to the Rose Bowl. He lost the Heisman to the first and only defensive player to win the Heisman.

If Leaf couldn't win it, Minshew doesn't stand a chance against Tua.

If Minshew had stuck with Alabama he'd likely be starting for them this weekend, and possibly for the remainder of the season.

That's not really the point IMHO. We - well actually people that matter - need to keep talking it up to keep the awareness up about him and WSU. If Minshew can get invited (top 3 correct?) that is close enough. Nationwide WSU exposure AGAIN.

He will be in New York, and for me as a football fan the award should go to the most deserving player.

Classic loser mentality right there

Because X achievement didn’t happen 20 years ago it can’t happen today.

If this stupid way of thinking was true or had any merit then we wouldn’t/couldn’t be celebrating our 4th season of 8 wins or more (something that has never been achieved before)
