Gueye and Jackson

Looks like Jackson will be back soon but not tonight. Warmed up and changed out of uni.

Terrible loss. Scoring droughts continue to be killers. How many games have we lost this year because an inability to score for long periods?

Nearly every loss has had a prolonged scoring drought. It's the common denominator for this group of performers.

"...didn't have enough juice, din't play hard enough" -- Kyle Smith. Actually, this coaching staff has not prepared the offense well enough. The plays are consistently the same. Why with this plethoria of small guards do we not press -- all the time?

Zone Press, Man Press, whatever. Where are the plays on the last 2 possessions>? Noah clearly was not instructed what to do. How about out of the time out?

Not a single player who can drive on this entire team. 16-30 Points in the Paint. If you have Efe and Mo you have to do better. Why is Efe on the bench in crunch time. He can hit 3's about as good as most of these guys.

All of these players who are redshirting is a joke. Either they are players or that are not.

Loosing the rebound total, assists, all percentages is horrible.

This Coaching staff needs to take a hard look at the offense and make changes. All screens are on-ball screens and mostly pick and roll. These guards can't feed the post and the posts don't work hard enough for position.

Its NIT and I am totally sick of reading, hearing about NCAA from all of the Fan sites, but the CougCenter guys are totally 100% ill advised on this team. As some say they are on tilt.

All of this endless dribbling drives me nuts, pass the ball up.

Yes they need a 6-3 PG who can fihish, yes they don't need two very small SG and a third very small wing on the floor. Yes they need a 6-6 strong finisher.

No they are not going to the NCAA's.

The Frosh true point guard Miles Rice 6-2 and 175 and Carlos Rosario 6-7 Wing. Carlos might have some medical issue they never have said (which is normal).

Also Tony Miller who is injured I guess.

Why was Flowers on the bench half of the 2nd half. Abogidi played 15 minutes, Flowers 26. Not enough.

I hope to calm down by tomorrow.
I thought that Mike was sick or something as he was very out-of-sorts and didn't play as usual.

I am going to calm down for the NIT---maybe

I also think Flowers was not 100%. When he double dribbled in the backcourt under moderate pressure, I figured there was something wrong with him. Shortly thereafter, he was on the bench for extended minutes.

The frustration on offense is a given for me. But what really hurt was the inability to counter the way ASU carved up the 2-3 zone by using a simple pass to the high post which led to easy, high percentage shots by the Sun Devils down the stretch. (Roberts is a real liability on defense, mainly due to his lack of size.)They seemed to score on nearly every possession in the last 3 minutes. Hard to blame the defense for the loss when WSU only makes 2 FGs in 18 minutes....but a couple of stops at crunch time might have resulted in victory.

Didn't watch. Hit the slopes for both days this weekend.

Looks like Noah kept up his stellar shooting. Please, Noah - don't ever take another three. Jon Tessem had a better stroke from outside. 20% from three land is sixth grade daddy coach AAU benchmark.

How nerd ball can't figure this out is truly astounding. Don't care what he did last season. Now is now.
