Wasn't that technically vs. Puget Sound played at the Tacoma Dome, or am I thinking about a different thrilling season opener? (I was there and almost witnessed an embarrassing loss to the Loggers.)

I wasn't at his first home game. But, I still have nightmares of relatively one of his last. It was against Arizona and I cannot remember exactly why, but there was a issue with Beasley, so the game was played in Bohler. Arizona won 96-59. It was by far the ugliest basketball game I have ever been at any level. I think they still may be scoring on us.

Yeah, but it was cool watching them play Arizona in Boulder.

Remember when we lost to Oklahoma State 81-29? It was merciful that that game was not televised.

The amazing thing is that Dick Bennett took that same team to Tucson just few weeks later and beat a top 15 UofA team there, which broke a horrible losing streak of a zillion losses vs Zona.
