is he enrolling early?

Will he be in the mix to start next year? He’s got good size and has decent mobility.

That will be great! One more quality QB to compete for the starting job through spring and fall camp next year is always a good thing.

He's enrolling early, but he'll have to absolutely blow the doors off of everyone else in order to play next season.

Kinda wondering if/when we will hear from Neville about transferring. Probably not until after the Bowl, he deserves to go (as an aside, does EVERYBODY get to go, as opposed to a traveling squad? Never thought to ask before). Kind of trickier, timing-wise, with the early signing period. But I bet CML is pretty good about working with a player and prospective destination school if the player goes about it the right way.

Everyone is going.

You are better off sticking out the season. Practice, work out, finish up the academic semester, be a good guy. Be up front with the coaches about what you want from your college football experience. Odds are they know coaches around the country. Ask them for help finding a new program. You move on to a better fit. They get a scholarship back. Everyone be a gentleman with a positive attitude.

Consider this... GM was headed to Alabama. He chose WSU instead. He just had a fabulous season. He learned from the AR guru. Think he still has value to Saban? Prob even more now because he just lit up the PAC 12. Every school he went to and left, as long as he was a good guy, would prob consider him for a GA job. Playing college football is a networking event for both players and coaches. You never know who is gonna wind up where down the road in the industry. Youre better off working hard and finishing out a semester than leaving upset mid year posting crap on twitter on your way out.

I don't think a kid straight out of hs will be ready to start in Leach's Air Raid. I know he gets the spring, but that is a lot to ask for a true freshman. East Carolina ran a version of the air raid which I'm sure helped Minshew tremendously.

A running game helps. Easy throws to backs and crossing routes help too. I imagine reading defenses and blitzes is the hardest part of being a young QB.

I don’t think he will start and he should be redshirted next year. I would like to see him raise the level of competition in the spring and fall camps because he does come from an air raid system.

Cooper didn't play this year, but do not forget that a player can play up to four games and still redshirt.

From what I’ve seen, Cooper had a ways to go before he sees the field. Depth chart positioning isn’t for show with Leach. The fact that Tinsley and Gordon saw the field this year and Cooper didn’t says something heading into Spring Ball.

All think all the QB's benefited from watching Minshew operate the offense for a year, hopefully they all learned a lot. We will be fine with Tinsley, Gordon, or Cooper, I have faith in Leach picking his QB whoever it is.
