Halftime stats

Most of the defection were on the defense, yet that unit has performed better than expected. The offense is a joke. That rt, #79 is getting worked, maybe the vaunted tight end we have heard about should line up over there and help him out

Is it Hilborn again? He’s the one who did an imitation of a well greased turnstile against CMU last year

Final stats:
6 points
183 yards
502 yards given up on defense.

How the f’ing fuc$ does anyone of the offensive staff have jobs tomorrow? They should be handed bus tickets back to Pullman.

For those counting, that’s 1,204 yards of offense given up in the last 2 games. Tell me more about the 425 defense. Missing guys? Granted. I will give you that. Big holes in the scheme and depth? Yep. Kids not coached up? Yep.

This isn’t Paul Wulff bad but you can f’ing see it from here.

You aren’t far off Biggs. I think if you are going to run this system you have to get a real, air raid leach tree guy, I’d get someone like Sonny Cumbie and a 3-3-5 Rocky long guy like the guy at sdsu. Neither of those guys would cost that much and it would be an upgrade.

The future of the air raid is running the ball. It’s too easy for teams to beat the air raid playing unsound defense because AR OC’s refuse to attack the field between the tackles.

No RB draw, qb draw, lead rb draw, lead qb draw.

The zone read is a joke. No one respects it because the QB never keeps it.

Shit can the screens, remove the back from the passing game altogether, commit to running the ball 25 times to make the defense commit to defending between the tackles. Now show me what the air raid looks like.

You can modify the air raid with more runs but for a small budget team, it Would be disastrous to go away from the air raid IMO. I also think the best defense you can run to pair with the air raid is the 3-3-5. Much easier to find lbs and safeties than four star d lineman. The guy at sdsu is really good.

What are they going away from?

The qb sucks.
The OL cant block.
Half the receivers are in the portal or graduating.

What is left?

I would like to see a 33 defense at WSU. Something that doesn’t allow the offense to out number you all over the field simply by formation. It’s one thing to have an uphill battle getting the kids you need. It’s another thing to take those kids and have them at a disadvantage simply by alignment. That’s the 425.
