Hats off to the Coug Fans who made it to the Furd game

I swear in the 2nd half the visiting Coug fans were much louder than the Furd fans. That may not have been the main difference maker but in a close game everything helps. It gives an emotional lift. There were more than a few times where our defensive players were raising their arms and getting hyped up encouraging more fan noise. At an away game--imagine that!!

Minshew mentioned something about the crowd after the game too.

You could frequently hear them on TV chanting GO COUGS and other things, well above the level of the Stanford crowd

I mentioned to my wife that the only shots of fans on the tv broadcast were of WSU fans. Even when we were losing our fans were excited and cheering. The shots of Stanford fans were repeatedly of the Stanford band just standing there.
