WA recruit also Ford Sports Performance…interesting. I’m not a prioritize WA recruiting over other good recruiting areas guy, but if you can get a guy you like from the state, fantastic! I’m sure he’s been around the AC his whole life and knows what it means.
I want no part of any kids connected to Tracy Ford's sleazy program.
Altho he may or may not be a 1.5 star, 2 star, 2.5 star Stud, he is part of Tracy Ford's Sleazy Program(And I have read, seen, heard from CREDIBLE, parents, players, HS, College Coaches, etc, on Twitter, Via links, who have not only verbally trashed Ford, but also supplied various links to CREDIBLE news, articles, social media, internet sources of his, Ford's sleazy doings.(Not sour grapes, etc)
And Ford is probably just trying to push, dump yet another 1.5 star, 2 star, 2.5 star, Whitworth College level kid, that couldnt get offers, higher ratings from elsewhere, into a WASTED WSU Scholly, while he Ford, continues to push 2.5 star, 3 star, 3.5 star, 4 star, P5, Pac 12 level kids, recruits to UW, USC, UCLA, etc.
It was a mistake to take 2.5 star Kershaw from Tracy Ford. And look what happened.
And its a mistake for Dickert, Rolo to take this 1.5 star, 2 star, 2.5 star Whitworth kid, recruit from the Sleazy Ford.
Rolo, Dickert didnt learn from the last time they took a kid, recruit from Sleazy Ford.
They, Rolo, Dickert are STUPIDLY taking 1.5, 2 star, 2.5 star kids, from Sleazy Ford.
One would think that tbey would have access, be able to find the same info I have found about Ford, and would have access to the BAD History of the BAD things that have happened to WSU, when Wulf, other WSU coaches have taken 1.5 star, 2 star kids from sleazy Ford.
Surely Rolo should know by now how Ford has treated WSU like crap.
But Rolo, Dickert keep on stupidly kissing Ford's Sleazy a$$, and trying to recruit WA 1.5 stars, instead of recruiting 2.5 stars, 3 stars, 3.5 stars, 4 stars, from So Cal, etc.

Tracy Ford's brother is on staff for UW. If this kid were a borderline 4 star talent like the folks at Brand X seem to think, why didn't Tracy call Thomas and say, "this is someone you need to take."?
Why does it every kid Tracy Ford thinks would be a steal for WSU falls into the hidden gem sales pitch? Why isn't he trying to sell us on guys who are ready to play on Day 1? Finally, why is the coaching staff willing to work with a guy who is so obviously a sleaze? At least of they were an out of state program we could claim ignorance on the snake oil salesman routine. No excuse to miss it when it's going on in your own backyard.
Oregon St has been terrible defensively and Trent Bray has done nothing to improve their fortunes. I'd be more impressed with an offer from Boise St or SDSU, tbh.
OV does not necessarily equal SCHOLLY OFFER from school that had OV official visit to.
And quite frankly if you would take a recruit from Sleazy Ford, then your being as dumb as Rolo, Dickert are being in taking a recruit from Sleazy Ford.
Also if the recruit were a 3 star, 3.5 star, 4 star recruit with a offer from Ore St, that would be different, as that recruit probably would be good.
But Sleazy Ford is not going to send a 3 star, 3.5 star, 4 star, WSU's, Ore St's way.
He Sleazy Ford is going to send those higher rated recruits to UW, USC, Oregon, UCLA, not WSU, not Ore St.
Instead Sleazy Ford will send WSU/Wulf, Ore St, Gary Anderson, etc, CRAP 1.5 star, 2 star, 2.5 star, WHITWORTH recruit kids, then when Leach, WSU, Ore St, etc, stop getting those crap recruits, kids from Sleazy Ford. Sleazy Ford responds with that Leach, WSU doesnt recruit WA kids.
And if Rolo/WSU puts Sleazy Ford to the test, recruits WA kids, Sleazy Ford then sends his worst recruits, kids to WSU, while sending his better, best kids to UW.

I’ve heard that Ford is actually making sure some recruits are ranked lower so he can send them to WSU when in actuality they are 3.5-4s on the standard level. Watching this guys film he’s a 3.25-3.75 as it stands and may reach 4.0. Imo Rolo is smart to take these guys are they almost always pan out. I personally want to thank Ford for directing us players.
Well Said. If I'm Rolo, if there are 2.5 star, 3 star, 3.5 star P5 level, Pac 12 level recruits, kids, that are not associated with Tracy Ford, that want to come to WSU, an or buy my sales pitch, then I take them. Otherwise I move on to So Cal, and dont take any recruit, kid from Sleazy Tracy Ford.

How Rolo can either not know about Sleazy Tracy Ford, or if does know, still takes a 1.5 star, 2 star recruits from him, is beyond me.

Another reason why Sleazy Tracy Ford isnt doing what your saying, is that would affect his reputation, make him lose money, etc.
He Sleazy Tracy Ford stands to make more money, if he sends his higher rated recruits to UW, etc, and then sends his whitworth level recruits to WSU. And then if WSU takes those Whitworth level kids from Sleazy Tracy Ford, then he makes more money.
And if WSU doesnt take those Whitworth level kids, then he turns up the heat on WSU, makes WSU look bad, and tries to get the media, politicians, the public to try to pressure, manipulate, almost force WSU to take those Whitworth kids, by accusing WSU of not recruiting WA kids.
Then WSU gives in, takes the Whitworth level kids, and Sleazy Tracy Ford makes more money.
Sleazy Tracy Ford is not going to give up his cash cow by making his 4 star ish recruits get rated lower so that they can then goto WSU.

Tracy Ford might be a sleaze and probably is but I think you guys are giving him too much credit. He’s not “sending” anyone players. If a kid wants to play for WSU and the coaches (who I can promise you they know more about Tracy Ford than anyone here) think he’s a good fit, then great. There’s been plenty of guys over the years who “weren’t UW guys” and turned into really good football players for the Cougs. If Tracy Ford is a purple onesy wearing douche bag I wouldn’t invest any time in him, but doesn’t mean every player that goes to his little training hub should be off limits.
Thanks for adding that. I don’t know a lick about the trainer or the kid. But as I read through this thread the one thing that kept rolling through my head was, “what if the kid just really wants to be a Coug?” Heck, I’d already figured that out by the time I got out of grade school and nothing was changing my mind on that.
Well someone I know who attended the Enumclaw FSP camp and Aberdeen FSP camp said one of tracys evaluators paul Canis was heard saying Tracy is actively supporting WSU as the target destination because he has believes they develop 1.5-2.75 star talent better. It’s not that he doesn’t direct talent else where but he’s fine even going as high a 3.25 to WSU which is equivalent 3.75 in rivals rankings. And 4.0 on espn. So we are getting as close to 3.5-3.75-4.0.
Your sarcasm aside, you seem to be making my point. Tracy Ford has always viewed WSU as a place to send his Big Sky/Mountain West talent so he can brag about getting guys into the P5 on full rides.
Nothing wrong with taking high upside guys who might hit it big, but the reward for snagging these guys locally doesn't make a ton of sense. Tracy Ford is all about Tracy Ford. He wants to sell parents on getting their kids an offer to UW or someplace out of state. For kids where the flashy P5 school across country doesn't work, he'll try to get them a spot with us or Oregon St.
So what if a local gem blows up for us? They tend not to have coattails, even prior to Ford. Marcus Trufant, and Rein Long's brothers went to other NW schools. Cedarland blowing up isn't going to build a pipeline from the westside to Pullman either.
Thank you!! I don’t know why everyone is taking their disdain for Tracy Ford and turning it into this kids issue. I know a ton of high school coaches that are absolute sleaze balls. That does not make it the issue of the kids that play for them nor does it make every situation that the coach is involved in sleazy. While I do not know Tracy Ford personally, I take at face value how Bad of a person you describe him as and believe you. But, I do know that his program is highly successful and he has done good for a lot of kids… Shame on all of you persecuting high school kids because of someone like Tracy Ford!! I trust the coaches to do their due diligence and recruit the players they believe will best help this program.. If they can’t do that then I hope their asses find the door.
You’re right Tracy Ford is about Tracy Ford. So I think he’s happy taking anyone’s money, regardless of where they want to or are capable of playing ball in college. Now part of his business model is making himself appear more important than he actually is. Kids and their parents are going to make the decision where they play. When a kid walks onto WSUs campus and sees the FOB, meets the coaches, falls in love with it, Ford isn’t going to be a thought in his head. And coaches shouldn’t pay much mind to Ford if they like a kid in his camp. Ford is training kids not placing them.

He had one other offer to play college ball. It's not like he turned down a dozen other schools because this felt like home.
The FSP guys Rolovich has landed have been:
Alphonse Oywak: A few offers (AZ and OSU plus the mountain west). Four star local kid. Fighting for a third string corner spot. Little buzz. Unheralded kid from Chicago from the same recruiting class as him is fighting for a starting spot.
Ryan Kershaw: We were his only P5 offer. Already washed out due to "injury".
Ayden Hector: Offered by everybody until the allegations came to light. Then no one wanted him. We gave him a walk on spot and he couldn't stay out of trouble and got booted.
That universe of players isn't where I'm looking for my next group of Cougs.

One would think that if what you were saying is true, that Tracy Ford would have sent one of his actual 4 stars(Not one of his supposed 4 stars in 2, 2.5 star clothing), to WSU by now over tbe last about 17 years(He hasnt sent WSU even 1 actual 4 star to WSU in the last about 17 years, which means he has NEVER EVER sent WSU a actual 4 star)(And one would think he would have enough pull, influence among his players, their parents, etc, to get at least 1 of his actual 4 stars to WSU.)
3. The only thing your right about, is that Tracy does believe that WSU does the best Job developing 1.5 star, 2 star, 2.5 star, etc, Whitworth College level kids, etc.
But thats not the only reason he sends those kids to WSU.
The biggest reason is that UW, etc, will never ever take those kids. But if those 1.5 star, 2 star, 2.5 star kids go to WSU, then he can maintain his reputation, claim that he got those kids a P5, Pac 12 level scholly, and thus make MORE MONEY.
If WSU develops one of his kids.well, then he claims that he did such a good job on eveloping those kids into big time kids, and makes more MONEY.
4. If Tracy Ford doesnt send 4 star kids, or 4 stars in 2.85 star to 3.15 star clothing to UW, instead of WSU, then again Tracy Ford loses Money, Reputation.
If Tracy Ford send a 4 star in 2.85 star clothing to WSU instead of to UW, he loses MONEY, REPUTATION.
IF TRACY FORD SENDS EITHER ACTUAL 4 STARS, OR 4 STARS IN 2.85 STAR CLOTHING to WSU, HE LOSES MONEY REPUTATION.
5. These are not 4 star in 2.85 star clothing that Tracy Ford is sending to WSU. These are ACTUAL 1.5 star, 2 star, 2.5 star kids that are in 1.5 star, 2 star, 2.5 star clothing, that he is pawning off at WSU so that he can claim to his kids parents and others that he got them a P5, Pac 12 level Scholly, build his reputation, make more money.
He isnt going to send those kids to Whitworth, Big Sky, Mountain West, like he should, because WSU, Paul Wulf, Rolo, is stupid enough to take them, and because if he did so, instead of sending them to WSU, he would lose money, reputation.
6. About 98% of his 1.5 star, 2 star, 2.5 star kids are actual Whitworth College level kids that cant or wont get developed into Mountain West, P5, Pac 12 players.
Just Ask Paul Wulf. Paul Wulf got a lot of 1.5 stars, 2 stars, 2.5 star players from Tracy Ford that were Whitworth Level kids, that helped cause Paul Wulf to go 9-40, get fired. Paul Wulf was STUPID to take those kids from Tracy Ford. And Tracy Ford sent those players to WSU to Paul Wulf, instead of sending them to Whitworth, because it gained him more reputation, MONEY.
If Tracy Ford cared so much about WSU, and if what your saying is True, then Tracy Ford, would have never sent those players to WSU, Paul Wulf.

As far as Ryan Kershaw goes, was he not injured? That's what I thought they said last spring on Brand X and maybe Brand Y as well. I think the local Yakima paper wrote the same thing about a career-ending injury.
Somewhat true - like 30-50% but the fact is Tracy puts in about 50-70% more time with the lower star kids meaning by the time they get to WSU they are .5 to 1 star above their 247 ranking. So a 2.5 is a 3.5, 3.25 a 4.25. That is how Tracy is making WSU better, he is adding undervalued talent. I think Coach Rolavich is smart because he can look back when these 1.5-3.5 pan out as NFL players and he can say look at how good I am developing. Then he can start getting 2.5 and 4.25 from Tracy. So all together you have to look at the absolute value of the recruit and adjust for the “tracy factor” which is +.5 to 1 star. 1.25-1.5 star on espn. Rolo finally made inroads with Tracy and Mike Leatch couldn’t and now we’re getting talent.
He played well as a soph. He took steps forward as a junior, what little film he had from prob few games. He played much more confident, his speed and athleticism improved. He is very much a drop into coverage linebacker. Has great length. He makes picks, he can come off the edge, he can make tackles. He isn't a huge hitter and could be a little more physical but he has his senior year ahead of him to take more steps forward. From his junior year film I don't think he has the foot speed to drop into coverage and play man on slot receivers in the PAC 12. I think playing zone is probably his best bet. At 6'3" that really helps across the middle. Tough to go over his head, matches up well with taller tight ends.
He is a good prospect.
As for Tracy Ford... He is using kids to make his own name. He is starting with the best athletes he can find and then taking credit for training them and promoting their names. It's starting on third base. Wanna impress me as a football trainer??? Take the 5'10" 215 guard and get him to All League. Take your average high school kid and blow him up into a big time high school kid. Don't start with the top 1% of DNA and then claim you're a big timer lol.
If it were me at WSU... if a coach or trainer came to me with a prospect and they don't have other P5 offers, no thanks. I'm setting the tone in the PNW that WSU is not a place to push your kids that got passed over by Oregon and the uw. WSU is not going to beat those teams every year taking kids that couldn't make their roster. Could there be some guys out there that fit some schools schemes better than others? Yes. Is that the exception to the rule? Also yes. If you take Big Sky talent, you become a PAC 12 school with Big Sky talent. While that may look great for Tracy, it goes poorly for WSU. Not only will WSU get smoked on the field, it sets the tone for PNW high school coaches. They will think WSU is where they can send their lesser kids and the uw or Oregon is where they send their better kids. No thanks.

You need to see the Tracy Factor first hand Mik. A lot of local students enrolled in his program and it’s only 99.99$/mo + 5$ maintenance fees per work out, 10$ advice session. You should enroll for one of his adult workouts. These kids are becoming pros from him. It’s a pretty good deal and makes sure Rolo gets the talents locally.
Woosh. The main thing I got out of this thread is how easy it is to troll Mik. I love Mik's passion but dude ya gotta think just a bit before you respond. Chugs is trolling Mik hard and he still doesn't even realize it. Takes the bait every time. Each post Chugs makes his sarcasm even more obvious but Mik still bites.
Not a Ford guy of course, but for comparison considering offers, would you offer this guy? Just took a visit, only a few power 5 offers. But his measurables are pretty impressive. Wrestling champ (at 195 which means his natural weight is probably already 205) 4.45 40 10.87 100, dad, Al, was a really good middle backer for the Cougs, which is where he projects and probably is a solid 220-225 by his sophomore year. I get there’s some concern if your entire recruiting class only has offers from San Jose State, but there’s guys that get overlooked and this has been anything but a normal recruiting cycle. Some of these kids haven’t played football in 2 years because of Covid.

Yes. Especially at that size. Other than Woods speed at LB and being able to chase down plays sideline to sideline has been a defensive challenge for years. I don’t care if he doesn’t have a lot of tape at this point, I assume he understands the position w/his dad and he certainly has the physical tools.
Take as many sub 11 sec 100m LBs as you can. Coach them up. Sort them out.
The versatility at LB with players that run like that is awesome. They can get home on a blitz. They can chase down outside runs. They can drop into coverage and run with faster WRs or cover more ground. They can cover up mistakes easier. Their speed allows them to be a better Swiss Army knife at the position.
