Does Dickerts gambling and at times it feels frantic play calls effect this teams confidence.

Feels like we need to settle down and just play smart.

Fundamentals are way off and that’s on coaching

The CotRW won’t tolerate this!

I don’t know. They’ve obviously won some games when they blow up on him.

I think it’s pressing and impatience from Dickert. Like every coach he has wants consistency, which this team has lacked. Our OL somehow holds that DE to .5 sacks. Who expected that?

This is really bizarre stuff. We’ve sat through the most dreadful of football experiences. Teams that flat out couldn’t compete. That needed miracles to pull out wins against FCS opponents. Teams that lost to FCS opponents.

We didn’t play great last night and there were some stupid mistakes. More strange play calling from Arbuckle. Yeah and some piss poor tackling. We still gutted out a win and are 7-1 and will be 21-23 in the country most likely today. This is college football and a lot of good teams end up on the wrong end of these games.

Not pretty but a wins a win. There’s a reason SDS has a lot of close games. The style they play mucks up the game and you have to patiently grind it out on both sides of the ball. Dickert and staff had moments of impatience last night that hurt us probably because they saw the same thing and thought “we should be killing these guys…”

I’m happy with an ugly win. But we’ve had too many ugly wins and at some point if we don’t fix the ugly the wins won’t be there.

This team started off so good and it feels like last season accept we are winning ugly.

I think there’s also some stuff we just aren’t very good at. Minus BJack and Stone the D Line is very mediocre. Durant is feast or famine in the back end he’s either making big plays or getting torched. Not ideal for your starting safety. The OLine continues to be inconsistent. They pushed Hawaii around then played pretty poorly last night. And Mateer is still learning how to be consistent. Pretty good recipe for a roller coaster. I’m just appreciating we are on the right side of these games. But to your point, it feels like a matter of time before we aren’t.

Winning is bad.
