1st of many to come unfortunately.
WSU still has what it has. Facilities, coaches, school, etc. What is changing is the schedule. What is changing is what the kids signed up for may no longer be offered.
Chun had better get to work scheduling games. Otherwise his coaches have zero answers for all questions asked by recruits and players. The verbal lists could disappear and the rosters empty.
WSU needs to stop waiting to see what happens and start making things happen. They have 3 non con games for 2024 football. Assuming they have OSU, furd and Cal they need 6 more power 4 games.
Klaitkoff and Schulz may be getting ready to bring in a bunch of expansion teams from the Mountain West (WAC) to restock the Pac-12 as a Power 5 conference
Don’t let the door hit you. Sorry I don’t like quitters
who pays their buyout?
John Calzoni says the Pac-12 may have $450M in its coffers once eight of the schools leave next summer.
Maybe a portion of that money could help out?
I read an articlt that said yhat tbw whole mtn west could be merged with no buyout if the mbrrs voted to dissolve the conferencewho pays their buyout?
I dontBiggs, what do you think the "Loyal 4" should do for next football season?
(I still think WSU and OSU are getting into the Big 12 and UC-Berkeley and Stanford are getting in the Big 10)

Are cal and standord on board with the lesser academics?
That hasnt been disclosed yetAre cal and standord on board with the lesser academics?
If academics is Cal and Stanfords concern, they should schedule Harvey Mudd, Claremont and Cal PolyThat hasnt been disclosed yet
The PAC 4 has to get the BEST DAMN MIDMAJOR'S IN WORLD, ON PLANET.
The best MIDMAJOR'S in world, on planet are
SDSU, SMU, Memphis, USF, Tulane, Rice, UNLV, Fresno St, CSU, Utah State, NDSU, BSU, Appalachian St, Gonzaga, etc.
If academics is Cal and Stanfords concern, they should schedule Harvey Mudd, Claremont and Cal Poly
I agree, the academic snobbery has to stopIf academics is Cal and Stanfords concern, they should schedule Harvey Mudd, Claremont and Cal Poly
They already sunk one conference with that arrogant fallacy

They've won a lot of games, but is Boise out because they hand out truck-driving certificates?
Harvey Mudd & Claremont are NCAA Div 3 schools. If academics is Cal and Stanfords concern, they should schedule Harvey Mudd, Claremont and Cal Poly

One Problem is that 9 of the 12 MWC presidents would have to vote in favor…and that’s not happening unless we bring 9 of them.
There’s no avenue left to an “academic prestige” conference (and the presence of Boise state immediately destroys any mention of academic prestige).
They still could make a western mostly R1 conference, adding Hawaii, UNLV, Nevada, Utah State, New Mexico, and Colorado State.
Just to get the MWC to vote in favor, we’d likely need 3 more. Boise, Fresno, and either Wyoming or Air Force seem the most likely and most marketable. Fresno and Wyoming are R2, and could get to R1 in the next decade. Neither AF or Boise will.
Rice is also R1. SMU and SDSU are not, but SDSU is close. Wyoming has been close, but fell in the last rankings.
We could get to 10-12 with those teams. That’s probably not a conference that gets past $10M in media rights.
Tulane, UTEP, NMSU, UC Davis, Montana and Montana state complete the list of potential teams who are R1 and play football. Most of those I don’t think are really worthy of consideration.
Cal and Stanford don’t get to make these decisions anymore. Go back to the lab and work on a cure for cancer or something, GTF out of the way and let some street smart people dig us out of the F’n hole you helped to dig.If academics is Cal and Stanfords concern, they should schedule Harvey Mudd, Claremont and Cal Poly
