I think it would be a bad look for him, having become the face of Cougar Football. He was on no one's NFL radar a few months ago. And then, not even one, and done.

I would love to send Urban Meyer off this way, but the QB isn't what makes the UW offense go. Gaskin does. They have other backs that are faster, but none with his balance or knack for shaking off tacklers.
Pretty sure Minshew won't be able to make $3 million next year as a major college coach. Of course he is going to play out the string vis a vis a shot at playing in the NFL. Which will enhance his coaching resume even if he flops.

Your like ratio is only 4.5%, Mine is 11.1%. Although it fires me that some of these goons show up with little to say and get all kinds of likes!
Although I know one prolific poster whose like ratio is only 1.3%......
GA’s? Yeah they make jack shit, get their grad school paid for with some free meals and access to the weight room. And you gotta do that for a couple of years before you get your first assistant job, which isn’t gonna make you rich. And your career at that point is mostly determined by the success or lack thereof your head coach. Very few make millions coaching, and it’s mind numbing the hours, travel, constant moving, etc.
If you have a chance to make the league minimum in the NFL for a few years you take it. You can always coach later.
