Sometimes the truth hurts.
Haven’t watched him play, don’t know if it’s the case. Either way, burning down the house on the way out is usually not the best idea.
Not only that, but did he consider that a lot of people who could possible control his future might hold the opinion of CML in high regard?
I must say I enjoyed it not because of leach but it is different than the canned response .

Mentions for any kind of recruitable athlete on Twitter are usually about 95% posterior smoochers.
Do football players have entourages? Maybe NIL dollars will make that a reality, and these folk are getting in line.
I remember being part of an interview panel at work and the prospective employee we were interviewing went way out of their way bad mouthing just about every previous employer. It didn't take much thought to imagine a day when he would be bad mouthing us if we ended up hiring him.
It's just not the thing to do when you are hoping to sell yourself to a new employer....or team.

Exactly. I’m pretty sure there are plenty of coaches out there who think Leach is an asshat and may not give a hoot about the parting shot - the kid was a solid contributor for 3 years at an SEC school - he’ll play somewhere.

Some of these coaches are shitty bosses. They are not all great dealing with people and making decisions for personnel.
