I’m taking my ball and goin home

I couldn't believe this was real at first. Looks like a meme.

He may learn a lesson about burning bridges and undercutting one's own market value earlier than most.

Hope he can find somewhere that values his "skill's" as highly as he does.

Not only that, but did he consider that a lot of people who could possible control his future might hold the opinion of CML in high regard?

Much to the detriment of my mental health, I decided to scroll down that twitter thread.

The number of people that straight up have his back is insane. And (surprise surprise) its almost all kids his age.

Mentions for any kind of recruitable athlete on Twitter are usually about 95% posterior smoochers.

Do football players have entourages? Maybe NIL dollars will make that a reality, and these folk are getting in line.

I remember being part of an interview panel at work and the prospective employee we were interviewing went way out of their way bad mouthing just about every previous employer. It didn't take much thought to imagine a day when he would be bad mouthing us if we ended up hiring him.

It's just not the thing to do when you are hoping to sell yourself to a new employer....or team.

Hahahahahaha I loved it. Leach has no problem shitting on him, fair is fair.
Exactly. I’m pretty sure there are plenty of coaches out there who think Leach is an asshat and may not give a hoot about the parting shot - the kid was a solid contributor for 3 years at an SEC school - he’ll play somewhere.

From ESPN:

Johnson ran 89 times for 488 yards with three touchdowns this season, while catching 48 passes for 285 yards. He had one of his best games of the season in the No. 22 Bulldogs' 24-22 victory at rival Ole Miss on Nov. 24, rushing for 73 yards on 12 carries and catching eight passes for 46 yards.

After that game, Johnson told reporters that the Bulldogs needed to be more balanced on offense. Mississippi State ranked next-to-last in the FBS in rushing with 78.8 yards per game. Only Boston College (63.3) was worse.

"I feel like we just need to run the ball," Johnson said. "That's just what it comes down to."

Some of these coaches are shitty bosses. They are not all great dealing with people and making decisions for personnel.
