I did not make that game, though I was in greater LA then. Instead, a group of couples that we were in were on the way to the Hollywood Bowl on a bus, passing the food around. We were passing through downtown LA when that pass was thrown. My enduring memory was of the SC radio announcer's discussion of McWashington's block that freed Chris. The admiration for that block was obvious. He spent more time on that than he did on the pitch or the catch. This was pre-"internet everything" or "mobile devices", so it was a while before I got to see this film clip. I still think of this play, rather than as "the catch", or "the score", as instead "the block". I'm with you on that, ttown. Levy was I'm sure proud about that block!!
