This was true at the time. They've really turned things around. They lost to Zona a couple of weeks ago but gave them a tough game as I recall.

Begrudging credit to the Dawgs and Hopkins. They've really only played one clunker since December....a blowout loss at UO. It will be interesting to see what they do vs. Stanford.

Every close game they've played in conference have broken their way, while every close game we've played pretty hasn't. But they are playing a lot better. Which is fine, I don't find Hopkins to be that threatening of a coach.

Brown has consistently played well and they have found someone else almost every game to step up like Matthews, Davis, Fuller, or even Nate Roberts. If you are a Kenpom person their “luck” stat is in the top 10. EDIT: UW moved to 16 after last night. WSU is 350 in the "luck" rating.

While I wouldn’t mind if they lost every game I agree with Brent. Hopkins doesn’t worry me too much. If they stick with him I think his ceiling is one I can live with.
