I must say

after watching and re watching the game I am becoming more and more excited about 2 maybe 3 years with Falk leading this offense. Poised, accurate and mobile. With additional experience this could mean a bright future for the offense.

He still has moments of indecisiveness, but the guy is just a sophomore. WSU has a lot of younger players showing potential (Tago, Harrington, Wicks, Priester, Martin, Mata'afa, Molton, and others).

I am seeing talent on the field. They don't always play to their best, but there is talent. When Leach gets this rolling, we should go to more bowls than not.

It's about polishing up mistakes and being sharp. Lots of young players still.

50% of the 2 Deep is underclassmen (Fresh/Soph) on offense and Defense.

68% of the 2 deep will return next year.

I told people before the season started that we are about 1 year away from a big breakout, and looking at everything I still hold that position. We still can do okay this year, but the next couple of years we can really be very good.

And I'm amazed at the general public, (neighbors, family, friends & yardbirds), that say "Leach should go". You know what I say? "They don't know what they don't know" !

Per Britt, we've played 18 sophomores, 9 redshirt freshmen, 8 true freshman in 2 games. This is actually an improvement

My only issue with the "1 year away" thinking is that every year, no matter what, there is a reason to be concerned about our football team. Wulff was the king of "we are young" and "building things the right way" and hearing the same story four years later is getting old. If you look at this week's depth chart, we lose Paulo, Vaeao, McClennan, Palacio and Allison from our defensive front seven after this season. We also lose the blind side of our offensive line. You can argue that losing one or two of those guys is a good thing, and you could argue that our younger talent is better, but that still leaves us with younger talent playing again.

By the end of 2016, we lose Cracraft, Williams, Marks, Thompson, and Baker. We also lose the right side of our OL. We are deep at receiver, but can we keep reloading? One of the big challenges of college football is developing that depth that can help you win. Price always seemed to string together guys that would grow up together so we'd have really good teams every 2-3 years with some pretty poor teams in between. Since he left, we've never had that team that came together as a whole, even for a single season.

There will always be reasons to struggle. Maybe Leach is getting our overall depth to the point where that will go away. I'm ready for that.

You know, Doba tried that, but his rebuild was 6-6 instead of the 8-3 of Price. The Cougars losing players doesn't happen in a vacuum. What do other teams lose? Do they lose more or less. Fact is, every team loses players.

The Cougars had to replace three offensive lineman last season and went out and set the all time WSU passing record for yards. They also have depth on the OL for perhaps the first time in it's history.

Regarding receiver, it has never been an issue at TT or WSU. Leach has been able to reload receivers. When Marks, Williams, Cracraft, etc., graduate, there will be the Priester's, Martins, Sweets, Lewis, Dimry, etc.

Regarding the defense, Mata'Afa replaces Vaeao, both Barber and Ekuale return, then there is Tapa, Mitchell, and hopefully, Toki. Plus, we would expect the DB's to be one year more experienced. The linebackers to be one year more experienced.

In fact, of the 22 starters, only seven graduate.
