I like the offense too. Would like to see JDL run the ball. Otherwise, I like it more than Leach’s pass only air raid.
I'd like to see more intermediate passes.
I like this offense a lot more with McIntosh. Borghi's always looking to bounce outside which gives the defense a lot of time to rally to the ball from pass coverage.

I think they complement each other. DM isnt making a house call from anywhere on the field. DM isnt gonna catch the ball and make a house call from anywhere on the field. He is a liability in pass protection. He is a hard runner for sure. Move the pile inside. Good player. He is a different RB than MB.
I thought MB ran better between the tackles with Leach’s scheme than this scheme.
Borghi needs to knock it off with the bouncing outside into 4-5 yard losses. He’s too feast or famine right now and is killing drives with those negative runs. Our offense is staying on schedule much better when McIntosh is in the game.
Me too. I like the concepts much better. I think the concern w him .taking off is how bad we suck without him. But certainly 5 yds and a slide would be helpful
It is his vision … if they could figure out how to option the de with Borghi as a trailer that is when Borghi would be effective . Or in the slot and have him get touches there

Here is the stat line from today…
DM 16 carries 68 yards. 4.25 yards per carry.
MB 12 carries 67 yards. 5.6 yards per carry.
Even if you remove their longest carries, MB is still more productive on the ground. And a better all around back.
Too many negative runs. 2 of his runs went for what 40. So he had 10 for 27 on the rest? Negative 4-5 yard runs are like sacks, they kill drives. That was a helluva catch he made though. Still had a decent game just needs to cut out the negative runs.
And for me right now, if I need a drive to tie/win the game I want McIntosh in. Disagree all you want, he’s seeing the field better.
it's a stretch play, you go where the hole is, most of the time it's outside bc our OL blows.

Even with his negative runs he averaged more yards per carry than DM. Even if you remove his longest carry of 25, he still averages more yards per carry than DM in an equitable comparison.
The stats don’t support your argument.
I'm really comfortable with BOTH running backs getting the amount of carries they got today. They each have specific strengths that complement each other quite well.

of course not, you'd rather bag on a player for 'doing it wrong' than admit you don't understand the offense.
JDL is a little too reckless with it. I think it’s a play for a QB with more experience and discretion.
