I was on the fence about CU. We have seemed to matchup alright with them but obviously this year would have been without Elleby and likely Tony Miller. Getting 1 more early game would have been good tape for Smith to coach to plus continue to get the first year players adjusted to Pac 12 competition.

Getting all 5 of the rest of the December games is huge just to continue to build chemistry heading into whatever the rest of conference ends up being.

Bonton is a punk

I don’t like to rag on any of our players, they are trying their hardest,,,,,but someone needs to put Bonton in a storage locker and not let him out. Ball hog, forces everything and many times has no chance of making a shot, and usually a low percentage shooter. Anyone who plays basketball can get hot once in a while. How can he fit Kyle Smiths style? We have no other PG ? Not even a learning PG? His play drives me nuts !

That was encouraging. It's happening slower than many would like but as the other players start to progress around him I think Bonton will either change his decision making or others will chip away at his time.
