If we are down by 2 with the ball and 10 seconds...

...left in the game, who do you want to have the ball for the best chance to win (doesn't mean they take the last shot).

Here's my top three in order...

1. Flowers
2. Bamba
3. Williams

What is your take?

I don't mind Noah having the ball to create something but he needs to rid himself of the notion that he has to take the last shot. If he drives and then can kick it to Flowers, Bamba or even Rodman for a clean look that would be my choice.

I think Jackimovski needs to be in this conversation. Now I know he isn't normally in the game by this time, but for me, he gives off the vibe of a stone-cold shooter.

Down 2? Toss it inside. Either gonna be a bucket or going to the line. Would prefer Dishon on the block with Gueye crashing weak side.

No need to jack up a three.

Unfortunately, still Bonton. Right now:

Flowers
Noah
Bamba

Noah has the ability to become the best option as does Bamba. This roster is talented enough, but the maturity and to a lesser extent health isn't there yet.

Ohhh...you've seen Dishon's FT percentage? Not liking that one.
10 seconds is enough time for an entry pass and a kick back outside.

Entry pass- as in pass to a player who has established position on the block. Novel concept for this group of guards, I know.

While the ball needs to go inside more, I feel our posts are just as much to blame. The posts don’t post up hard and look like they want the ball. When it does go inside all but Jackson shoot fad away jumpers! Both Efe and Gueye have shown they have drop steps and jump hooks in their arsenal but they are to passive inside. Both want to play defense and offense after they get the ball or after the player they are guarding gets the ball! Both need to learn to play without the ball and before the ball arrives. Imo

Good plan.

But if the game is at Pauley, history has shown with game tying FTs, a "lane violation" might occur.

I agree, but I wonder if this is a coaching point, by design in other words.. I feel like it’s just not emphasized, thoughts?
