You saw glimpses at times that he could under Bone, but Ernie has found something with him. I have never seen a guard so quick with the ball before for us. Him and Hawk are gonna be fun to watch for the next 2 years.

Yes. I liked him at first and then didn't like him so much because he was frequently out of control and drove into double teams without a clear sense of what he was doing. Kent's offense needs someone who can penetrate and dish. Early in the year it was easy to see the penetration but not the dishing. He had 5 assists last night and generally made good decisions. Obviously you can't teach that kind of speed. It is great to see his growth as a player.

Ike is still a work in progress, but he is making a lot of headway. And he and Hawkinson seem to share mental telepathy on some of their give & go/pass & cut/screen & cut away stuff. It is fun to watch them.

This system is a better fit but he's making better decision the last few games. I have never thought he could handle the point but he's done a nice job the last few games wherever he's playing on the court. Johnson has started to come on as well.
