According to Mitch Vingle (on Youtube), a long time WVa journalist, and long time friend of Oliver Luck (went to school and graduated together), he and Mr. Luck have spoken and Mr. Luck informed him that he has been retained by WSU and OSU, not by the Pac-4 nor by Stanford or Cal. Mitch Vingle also stated that Mr. Luck, in addition to being the former UWV AD, has strong Big 12 ties, and was instrumental in UWV securing a Big 12 invite, when they were competing with Louisville for it.

He didn't provide any more info, but you can read the tea leaves why the Cougs and the Beavs may have retained the man.

This Info seems to be quite reliable.

Agreed, this was a good move. Looked on Luck's companies' website, Oregon State is a client. Pat and Kirk need to step up their public game here.

He also has a JD from UT, a good school. While I don't think he has a bar licence, he does appear to be a step up from Chun. While Chun reportedly has a masters, it is a masters in a subject that they don't disclose, which suggest it is underwhelming, like education.

My dog is a step up from Chun. He sucks, and I've been saying it for a long time. And Shulz needs to unceremoniously retire.

Funny story (sorry Longtime, I guess this is absurd, Like you ever bring anything to the table but your one liners). So when I was at WSU, we got a public records request from the Moscow paper for the costs of Lane Rawlins farewell receptions. The WSU minions were freaked out, we had like 20 of them running around like headless chickens digging up info. Being a farm boy, I've actually seen that. Anyway, I said F this and called the reporter. She was actually doing a story about the money spent for the UI President's (forget who that was) farewell reception, and wanted a comparison. So I gave her the high level number and we were done. How the F I ever survived all those years in Higher Ed I'll never know.

Chun will be at Ohio State soon enough. I don't see him staying around much longer.

I personally would like to see Mike Marlow come back. He was Moos' right hand and from what i can tell, was doing most of the day to day stuff. Bill was spending his time chatting it up....which he was great at.

Ok…so what was the number?

I'm going to remind everyone that we rank dead last in athletic giving and attendance.

Chun and Schulz may suck, but our fans are the reason we're in this situation.

We dont have a ton of fans. Most of what we do have is alums, not a lot of fans without university ties
