In his presser he speaks about lining up his guys ASAP. He talks about guys he feels he aligns with from the past, and bringing in great recruiters. The more I think about it, the more I believe he might pull guys like Ken Wilson and some of the old crew for Mississippi St. I’ve heard people say he won’t rehire guys who leave but I’m not so sure.

I wonder if Mastro, Wilson, Manning etc end up there... and If those aren’t bridges burnt.

I was hoping we’d pull Wilson for DC for a few reasons. I would wager Spurrier and Phelps are going.

Sounds like Spurrier, Miller and Emerick are bound for Starkville.

I would have liked to hang onto Brown (even if it was for just a year). Leach brought some things to Wazzu's conditioning program that helped on the injury front, and I'd like to retain that as tribal knowledge. If we end up jettisoning all the coaches associated with Leach's time here, we end up losing a lot of the tribal knowledge we've acquired and tweaked the last 8 years.

He wasn't exactly "splitting the atom" in the recruiting universe:)

He was the chief of staff. I don't think he really had anything to do with actually recruiting players, other than probably organizing travel and on campus activities.
