Academics can be tough with what is essentially a year-round sports commitment. If he can make it academically, why not?

Michael Crabtree was a 2 sport athlete and was actually talked into coming to Tech by Bobby Knight, he was the highest ranked receiver Leach signed.

Tony Gonzalez did both for Cal and was an All American at one of them. Impressive athlete.
