I’m no lawyer and I didn’t stay at a holiday inn express last night either but my hunch is any attorney not named Rudi would have no problem making WSU pay up for firing a coach who won’t get vaccinated. Coaches coached last year before it was available. Don’t get me wrong…complete jackass for not vaxxing but that’s another argument.
Which part wasn’t explained properly . I always understood that a certain amount of people had to get vaccinated for it to work . And I have always been told variants we don’t know about yet could become more infectious the more covid sticks around .
I always had that as my expectation , and I have it as my expectation we get shit down again. Not like before but limits and more mask mandates like what is happening in LA and San Fran .
They pay either way… the contract is almost iron clad … except Mike Prices and Mike Leach’ if I recall correctly .
But he can’t go in in home visits… lake and smith can . Puts the program at an even larger disadvantage
I’m wondering if it could have the opposite affect. Could it push possible recruits away. I find it rather interesting that we force the students to get vaccinated in order to attend school. Then send them to practice or the classroom to be taught by unvaccinated people. Certainly to each his own, but some consistency would be nice, because that makes absolutely zero sense to me..
I agree we would end up in court, but as a student, I would sue the university for the tuition that I paid in the pursuit of my degree.. If I do not get vaccinated I can no longer pursue my education at your institution. Could be a fascinating argument..

Sounds like Mr. Chun is in a good place with Coach RoLo steering clear of the vaccine.
He's certainly not talking about dismissals or suspensions.

If Mr, Chun and Pres. Schultz are fine with RoLo's choice (maybe they're anti-vaxxers, too), perhaps we all can rest easy.

WSU is requiring proof of vaccination for all students attending classes or living on campus. You can ask for an exemption from the requirement but you will then be required to where a mask.
I have no idea how this will be enforced but that is what I was told in the last communication I received from the school on the subject.
My respect grew for Rolo today. I'm sure he has received pressure on this.
Why would anyone take an experimental shot (not FDA approved, so no legal recourse if complications arise from the shot), when they have zero chance of dying from the virus. I assume he has no comorbidities, and since he is much younger than 70 years old AND the effectiveness of the shots is not close to the claims, there is no good reason to get vaccinated.
I made the same decision. To think that some are pushing for children to get this shot is unreal. Even the CDC data shows a greater chance of a child dying from a lightning strike than dying from C-19.
If I get Covid, then I'll be sick for several days. Big deal.
One of the exemptions is "personal beliefs". That's what my daughter is choosing. Her thoughts, and I wholeheartedly agree, is that at the age of 19 with her child bearing years in front of her, she's not willing to take a chance on a vaccine that has been tested in the way in which this one has. I'm damn proud of her for that decision.
Covid - "vaccine" or not- will be with us for many, many years. It will keep mutating and keep flaring up all over the world. Viruses are going to virus.

Adverse- as in- deaths. Also, we don't know the long-term effect of injecting spike proteins into our bodies. That is why the FDA still considers these "vaccines" as experimental. There is no legal recourse if something goes very wrong.
"Science" is liberal when only certain science is believed that follows a preferred narrative. Let's not pretend otherwise.

The masks don't do anything. The COVID19 virus is 1000 times smaller than the holes in the blue masks everyone wears.

The jury is still out on whether vaccinated people spread it. Best guess is they are far less contagious.
Imagine what a pandemic with 2% mortality will do. We will actually kill each other out of fear of having a small chance of dying. Rolo may have heart issues, or inflammatory disease, or other immune issues. Maybe he has a religious reason. I’ll assume he has a reason. I dunno why anyone would think they know why he chose not to get one. I got one, I’d get another. But stop being so pious.

Hannity and others at Fox have been this week. Wanna know why? The scales have tipped to where the mutations/variants are killing R voters and QNut TV viewers at a faster rate than fringe right wingers are getting off the sideline to vote from the “own the libs” narrative.

I won’t weigh in on the political nature of getting vaccinated or not because I believe it is irrelevant to my opinion. I just find it incredibly hypocritical that an employer is requiring it’s patrons to be vaccinated, yet the people who will be serving those patrons who said employer employs are not otherwise required. Just seems odd to me..
Don’t tell me I have to be vaccinated to fly to Hawaii then put me on a flight where the pilot and stewardesses aren’t required because you want to avoid legal issues. That’s horseshit.
My personal opinion is that this is bad press at a time when we don’t need it. Not sure how or why this came out, but I would have preferred he gave a good ole, “No comment”. Keep your vaccination status between you and those that need to know. If you feel like you need to share the information when the media, which is a political statement regardless to what others may think.. Then man up and tell them why..
