Is Joel Klatt doing the game with Gus on Saturday

I personally find him in the Brock Huard category: an annoying know it all. Klatt was mediocre at best at CU - as was Brock Huard in the NFL -- but these guys spout off like they have more knowledge and insight then the best minds in the game.

I prefer analysts with a little humility, and little sense of humor combined with some football knowledge.

Agreed I'm a huge Brock fan. I also happen to believe he's a closet Coug that, other than meeting his wife at UW, would have been a Coug in a heartbeat if you gave him some truth serum.

Petros is hilarious, describes himself as the worst player on the worst USC team in history. To many in the booth take themselves way too seriously. He is a modern day Bob Uecker. A funny funny man.

absolutely. one thing to note on the petros subject: i was watching the stanford game on youtube last night (at 2am... don't ask) and the booth was him, another color guy, and the play by play guy. all three were ok, but the interaction between the play by play guy and two color guys was impossibly awkward. three man booths don't work.

I don't know why Fox hired Helfrich, and I don't know why they were putting three guys in the booth.

During the UW Stanford game Petros was talking about how he was Stanford’s number one recruit until he sent them his transcripts and never heard from them again.
