Rolovich isn’t opting out of anything. He’s choosing not to get vaccinated. If he refused to comply with WSU policy than he’d be opting out. Saying you don’t want to get a vaccine and saying that you are opting out of football bc or a preexisting condition are two entirely different things. Since you are choosing not to participate in games because of a medical reason you then become a medical risk to all other team activities. So in short, no he isn’t a hypocrite.

For starters, the rules were very different in august 2020 than they are now. And, Woods wanted to opt out of games to reduce his exposure to the virus. Roll icy is opting out of the vaccine and taking his chances with the virus. Seems like opposite sides of the coin to me.
