No when I awoke I wasn’t in Seattle but on a beautiful island holding a newspaper dated Jan 2 1998. The sports headline read WSU downs previously unbeaten Michigan on final play 22-21.
Controversial ending gave the Cougs one final play with one second remaining on the clock.
That’s when I knew I was in heaven.

Ed Murray was never convicted and as far as I know, no criminal case has ever been brought. He resigned in 2017. He was not a good mayor. So, good riddance.
